Some people go to anger management group to learn how to control their temper, which is probably a success. But what people do not know is that there's a limit that they personally set before going into the boiling point and at the end explode.
Today, Mr.President came into class and politely asked us to attend this "Happy-Get-Along" Camp with the juniors with a payment of RM10. I half-heartedly obliged and signed up. So, what's the problem, you ask? They actually let Hell loose when Miss Louise said 'This year's seniors are better than last year' and 'Lecturers are not going to write you a recommendation letter when you need it in the future because of your lack of commitment'.
1) NEVER compare what we have and what we didn't have! We didn't have this Mass Comm Society the first place when we first entered. So, who bloody cares what's on in the society and compare saying we do not have the initiative to be friends with the juniors?
2) You people are actually FORCING us to go, instead of INVITING us as you phrase it. Actually, scratch that, you're THREATENING us to go with the recommendation letter.
3) Why study PR when you don't know how to deal with problem? Do you people actually know that you've just created a PROBLEM instead of SOLVING one? the problem here is you've made a BAD impression for us by doing so and if you haven't successfully solve this problem, you'll actually create more in the future meetings that you'll organize.
4) Miss Louise asked us to look into the junior's POV and this struck me. We know how hard it is to organize this whole camp cause we've been that and done that. Ok, if we EVER attend, stick those fake happy smile on our lips but with the half-hearted spirit, you'll never going to make it work. You should have explain to us the plan of that day and not just blabber everything out like we get it. And for those with transportation difficulties, come out with a solution for them, then it wouldn't be an excuse not to attend.
I don't get it. Why must you people even push the 'reset' button on us when you can avoid going through that in a better and more organized way.
Dear DPR(2009), I'm sorry if my words are harsh but this is what I feel. I do hope sincerely that all of us could get along like you want us to but please do it in a better and more polite manner when you do. Thank you.
support!
